Hi there, in this tutorial you will learn how to add view counter to your wix dynamic page. This is a great feature that allows you and your site visitors know which content is viewed the most. Plus it also gives you the extra analytical understanding of how your contents are doing.
I will give you a short breakdown of the steps I used;
Add the eye icon 👁️🗨️ and text 📄 to display the total number of views.
Configure dataset: Click on your dataset and click on "Settings". Then change "Mode" from "Read-only" to "Read & Write". This will make sure that site visitors can save content using your dataset.
Create a new field on your dynamic content database collection📦. Name it anything you want, but remember the fieldkey🔑 for the code.
Then add your code.
The rest is basically about configuring your code to your IDs and fieldkey to make it work.
